Every plan is the whole product. Other apps write code to keep you away from features that cost them nothing, so you’ll buy the next size up; we’d rather not. Pick the plan that’s the size of your business, and we’ll take your word for it. Studio and Agency add a domain of your own. What you pay today is what you’ll pay forever. What someone joining tomorrow pays is their problem. 14 days free on every plan.
Getting paid
What one bank transfer costs you
We make money one way: the subscription. Bank transfers cost 0.8%, never more than $5, so past a $625 invoice the fee stops growing. When your client chooses to pay by card, they see the processing fee, up to 3%, added then and there: their choice, not a line on your invoice.
What one bank-transfer payment costs you, by invoice size. We add nothing.
Questions
About the money
Do I need a Stripe account?
You need one to take card and bank-transfer payments, and Studioworks connects to it in a few minutes — the one you already run your business on, or a new one if you don’t have one yet. Either way the account is yours: your money goes to you, not through us. Check, wire, and every other way to pay work without Stripe at all.
What does it cost to get paid?
Stripe’s rates, and nothing of ours. A bank-transfer (ACH) payment costs 0.8% with a $5 maximum, so $5 is the most you’ll pay on any invoice over $625, however large. A card payment’s fee is set by the card, up to 3%, and by default your client pays it, not you — you can turn that off. Checks and wires cost nothing. The only money Studioworks ever makes from you is the subscription.
Can I use it alongside what I have?
Yes, and for many studios that’s the cheaper arrangement. Send your invoices from Studioworks and change nothing else: what you save in fees can cover Studioworks and the tool you already pay for. Your accountant, your bookkeeping, and your files stay exactly where they are.
